MG Philippines has always been an advocate of OPM, having staged numerous MG Live! free concert events in the past in an effort to showcase local talent and to reinforce the brand's youthful spirit. While MG Philippines has been unable to mount an actual MG Live! concert in recent months due to the pandemic and the accompanying heightened restrictions for mass public gatherings, the brand still finds ways to celebrate OPM and bring it to the public. This year, MG Philippines joins the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) as the latter brings their hit original Pinoy musical "Rak of Aegis" online. The musical features classic songs of the iconic rock band Aegis, and tells the story of a young girl named Aileen living in Barangay Venezia who dreams of becoming a YouTube sensation. 

To add more excitement to the show, the #RakWithMG online contest will be held on MG Philippines' social media accounts where users have a chance to win free e-tickets to watch the live streaming broadcast of Rak Of Aegis on August 8, 2021. From August 1 to August 5, users can qualify for the raffle by doing the following:

1. Like and follow MG Philippines' official social media pages
2. Tag two friends in the comments section of the official #RakWithMG FACEBOOK post with the hashtag #RAKWITHMG, and
3. Upload a screenshot of their comment along with their contact details to this Google Form: bit.ly/RakWithMGRaffle. A total of 12 winners will be randomly drawn and announced on August 6, and e-tickets will be given on August 7.

PROMO MECHANICS:

1. The promo will run from August 1-5, 2021. Deadline for entire is 11:59pm, August 5, 2021

2. The promo is open to all Filipinos aged 18 years old and above residing in the Philippines. The Covenant Car Company, Inc. - MG Philippines employees, affiliates, and partners are not qualified to join the promo.

3. To join, participants must follow MG Philippines on Facebook and comment on the official raffle post on MG Philippines’ Facebook account.

4. The comment on the official raffle post on MG Philippines’ Facebook account should comply with the following requirements to be considered a valid entry:

6.Paricipants must complete form Google Form upload a screenshot of their comment on the Facebook post as proof of their valid raffle entry.

7.Entry per participant is limited to one (1) entry only. Incomplete forms will be deemed invalid.

9. Deadline of submission of entries is on August 5, 2021, 11:59 PM.

12. Announcement of winner to be done at 7pm August 6, 2021 via MG Philippines’ Facebook page.

13. MG Philippines will reach out to winners via email and send their e-tickets via email, with instructions on how to activate this in order to watch the online live stream broadcast on August 8, 2021

14. Delivery of prize will be shouldered by MG Philippines, within 30 days of receipt and confirmation of their proof of identity. Failure to reply to contest representatives, or show proof of identity within 30 days of receipt of registered mail will result in forfeiting the prize subject to prior approval from DTI.

15. By providing your personal information, and sharing your videos and other assets, you agree that MG Philippines has the right to use these assets for any commercial and marketing purposes of MG Philippines.

16. Total cash amount of prizes (12 e-tickets) is Php 6,000.00. Prizes are not convertible to cash.

17. All participants who will join the promo are presumed to have read and understood and agree to abide by the complete promo rules and regulations. They also consent to sharing their personal information, as required in the promotion.

18. By joining this promo, all participants agree and allow MG Philippines or its representatives to contact them via email for the purpose of notifying them of the result of the promo.
